Chevy Madness '97
The 17th Annual Chevy Madness was held at Golden State Pickup parts in Santa Fe Springs, California. Hundreds of custom and classic Chevy trucks were shown at the event. Trucks ranged in years from the early '30s to the newest '97 models, and included flatbeds, panel trucks, suburbans, blazers, duallies, and just about every truck Chevrolet offered in the past seven decades.
Trucks were lined up in groups of each model and year range, which allowed customized and restored trucks to be compared side-by-side.
Over 60 trophies were awarded at this year's show, and there was plenty more to offer. Other events included tech clinics, parts for sale, music, food, a raffle, manufacturer's booths, and a live, on-site broadcast by KRLA radio. Masey Motorsports brought some of their custom creations, along with a brand new, yellow '97 full-size truck, which was given a Bell Tech drop throughout the day.
