TEXAN S-10

Chip bought his '94 S-10 with only 3 miles on it back in November of 1993. It was one of the first run of trucks with the new body style. It came stock with a 2.2L engine and a 5 speed tranny.

First modification manifested itself in the audio department. Chip installed a pioneer CD player and hooked it up to a Denon amp pushing 100W mono to the JL audow 10" subwoofer mounted behind the seat. Chip installed a pair of 6.5" JL compititon woofers in the door and a pair of Polk audio 4 x 6's in the dash. Next, he put on a GT Grant steering wheel on and a bra on the hood because Chip dirves a lot of highway miles.

As for the suspintion, it received a pair of Belltech 1-inch coils spring and 2-inch spindles up front and 3-inch Belltech blocks in the rear. Total height modification: 3-inches. The rims are a classic style by Prime and the tires are BFGoodrich.

Chip performed all the work himself, which adds some definite bragging rights. Chip has also planned future modifications, including 17-inch wheels and bucket seats.
