This is Ray's work in progress. It is, beleive-it-or-not, a 1988 Jeep Comanche. To start things off right, Ray shaved everything, including the door handles, all vents, antenna, tail lights, and he will soon add a custom weld-on roll pan and shave the tail gate. It rolls on a set of american racing outlaw 1 rims wraped with 245/60/14 BFG radial T/A tires. The front end came from a '96 cherokee limited. It sports GTS head light covers.

To get some more speed out of the 4.0-liter 6, Ray added a Monza exhaust and a K&N cone filter. The audio equipment includes a Sony CD player, 2 Kicker amps, 3 Rockford Punch 10's, 2 Infinity 5 1/4's, and 2 Kenwood 6x9's.

But all those modifications weren't enough. To become a true sport truck, Ray had to drop his truck. He got down with a 5-inch drop in front and a 6-inch drop at the rear. The truck is still in primer, but it will be painted in April with Dupont imron black, plum crazy purple, and white.

Rays says if any Comanche or Cherokee owners want to talk, send him an email.
